The Sports in Community Camp program is specifically for youths in rural areas around the country with training facilitated by personnel from the respective sporting bodies of Rugby, Netball Rugby League, AFL, Boxing etc. The program is conducted with the assistance of the respective Provincial offices. Targeting players, coaches, referees, sports administrators. This program will be combined with the Train the Trainer Program.
The Train the Trainer Program is a sports accreditation program conducted in rural communities by National Sporting Organisations for coaches, referees, umpires and administrators. Additional OSEP Programs including Sports in Community Administrators (SiC) Course and Community Coach and Official (CC&O) Course are programs aimed at developing basic sports administration and coaching skills. The program presents coaching, officiating and administration pathways for participants who wish to take up coaching refereeing or sports administration to a higher level in a sport of their choice that they are interested in.
