Virtus (formerly INAS) was established in 1986 and is a proud founding member of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). Virtus is recognized globally as the international organization For Disability Sport (IOSD) with responsibility for the management of eligibility and classification for athletes with an intellectual impairment.

They have over 90 member organizations across all fie IPC regions serving more than 500,00 people. Virtus has held 15 Annual championships across both summer and winter sports and three diverse competition classes creating a FAIR PLAYING field for athletes with intellectual disability, autism, down syndrome, and other impairments.
